Strings n Things with Tom Carroll, Hayes Griffin and Chase Potter

Welcoming Strings and Things – featuring guitarist Tom Carroll, Hayes Griffin on guitar and mandolin, and Chase Potter on fiddle – for a night of dynamic string music during happy hour.

Tom Carroll has been a longtime performer in the Central Ohio music scene and recently retired from Denison University where he was a guitar instructor and coordinator of many jazz and other music events. 

Hayes Griffin is a multi-instrumentalist and music educator living in Columbus, OH. Hayes spent over ten years on the road touring with Canadian fiddler April Verch, then progressive bluegrass band Newtown, whose album Harlan Road featured Griffin’s guitar work and debuted at #8 on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts. During this time, Hayes taught hundreds of guitarists and mandolin players at camps and workshops across the United States, Canada, and Europe.
